Christmas Gift Envelopes

What do you get someone who has everything?  Well, gift card/money of course.  But just handing someone money isn't any fun nor is it very creative so I created these cute little envelopes to hold the gift cards/money for the restaurants specified on them, places that they eat often.  Then I tied them with a bow to hold them all together and will give them with a little gift. Hope they like them and enjoy their dates!

Candy Boquette

My daughter is having a special birthday this year and I wanted to do some different fun things for her.  I saw these "pop" bouquets last year but had no occasion for them.  This year I decided this would be a fun and cute item to make for her and have it delivered to her at school.  After I completed the bouquet, I had found a post where she had made these cute bows out of newspaper.  Well, I thought that it would be cute out of some of the leftover paper I had from other projects for my daughter's birthday so... this cute bow became the topper to my bouquet.  I think it adds a nice touch!  She's going to love it!

Naughty or Nice Pop Bottles

This year our family Christmas party was at our house.  I wanted something to give to everyone that came.  I decided "Who doesn't like Mt. Dew?"  So I made these to hand out to each family as they left.  I think for a last minute thing they turned out nice.  This file is from My Scrapchick.  Cute huh!

Get Whale Gift

I have a friend who has influenza and feels pretty awful about now so I decided to make a little care package for her.  I won a challenge over at  http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/2013/02/winners.html and I just received my prize in the mail.  I get so excited when I get new scrapbook stuff that I just had to just use it now.  Anyone else like that?    LOL.  So I decided to use her cute little pocket and tag to stick on my friends "Get Whale" package.  I think it ads a cute look to a simple brown bag.  Thanks so much for the wonderful gift Laurie!  I love them!  In the bag I put some cold and flu items including a can of chicken noodle soup and on the tag a recipe for a cold/flu remedy that seems to help at our house.  I hope she gets feeling better soon!

Christmas Moose Tag/Card

Here's another Tag Card that I did.  These files are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  Aren't they sweet!  Everyone has there little version of this moose lately and they are so adorable and always make me smile.  I'm also loving my new Peachy Keen faces.  Now my eyes are the same....my noses are still cutting different (you can see in the picture they aren't the same....same shape, same size, yep....but they don't cut the same.....gggrrrr)  Anway, my new Peachy Keen faces are fixing that issue nicely.  Love them.  I've been wanting to use this Santa Boot for a while but haven't "found" a reason to yet.  So here it is!  They are so cute.  Anyway, once again this has a pocket on the inside for money in this case although I will put gift cards in some of them that I made,  but this one is for my niece's Christmas gift.  I think she'll like him and the money!  LOL.  Have a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year everyone!

Tag swap

Ok....so here is my final tag for the tag swap I joined. I think this one turned out cute! Woosh.....I just made it as school is out! Now I just need to get these sent off so I don't have to worry about them until I get the swap back. I haven't joined a swap in a long time and it was fun. I can't wait to get everyone's back. :-)

Tag Swap

Ok...so here is another tag I made for the swap. For some reason, I had brain freeze when I started on this one. Finally, it came together and I l ike how it turned out. I had originally started out as wanting the pumpkin to be like a vase with flowers coming out but I couldn't get it to look right so I eventually gave up and did this type of pumpkin instead. I really like how the embossing and inking turned out on the pumpkin. Yeah for the cuttlebug and for Mother's Day which is when I usually get all these fun toys! LOL....

I found a fun online group recently and decided to join and play along. They were doing a tag swap with different categories. I used to do a lot of swaps when I first started scrapbooking because it was a fun way to get different supplies and ideas but I haven't done one in several years. Well for some reason, maybe because the deadline was so far off, I decided to join. These are two of my tags for the swap. I hope they like them! The santa head is from a the Christmas collection from the link below.....and the cupcake is actually a couple of different cupcakes combined to actually make the one I liked....LOL....that's what I love about MTC and SCAL... flexability....
