Tri Shutter Card

Ok...so this is the file I was looking for when I found the swing file and remembered I wanted to try that one too. Well today, I found this one (I couldn't remember what this style of card was called so I didn't know "where" to look for it...) Anyway, I just had to give this one a try once I found the file. I love how this one turned out also! This is once again one of Penny Duncan's cards and it was super easy and super fun! http://pennyduncancreations.blogspot.com/ found in her free files section....

Birthday Card

Well, I made this tag for a swap a couple months ago and it has been sitting on my scrap table this whole time. So today while waiting for my spy checker to check my computer, I made it into a card for my stash. I actually need to make a bunch more because I used 5 or 6 of them in the last couple of weeks and I don't have very many so.... I need to make some up so that I have them ready to go when needed. Anyway, I like how it turned out. It was simple because the tag part was already done. Gotta love that! I can't wait for my swap items to come back and see what everyone else made! Fun fun....

Swing Card

My husband and I have been married for almost 20 years and I wanted to make a manly card for our anniversary. This is what I came up with. It's kinda hard to tell, but the black is part of a foil pack of paper that I got, the heart is red foil wrapping paper, and the inside diamond plate look is a piece of silver wrapping paper that I ran through my cuttlebug. What man doesn't like diamond plated things right? I once made his brother a "thinking of you" card while he was going through his divorce and my husband made the comment, "That's a cool looking card." Well, having never gotten that response from him for a card that I made him, I'm hoping this is the one! This is one of Penny Duncan's svg's so if you want it, you will need to go to her blog here: http://pennyduncancreations.blogspot.com/ and search under her free files for swing card. She is an amazing artist and so generous with her work. Please take a moment to say thank you when you download any of her files!

Gift bag

Well, today I needed a little summer "thinking of you" idea. So.... I got to thinking, who doesn't love lemonade in the summer? Now what to put the package of lemonade in? Well, the cricut to the rescue. I made these little bags to take to the 3 ladies that I go visiting teaching too. (Each person in our church visits with others each month to check on them and make sure they are ok. We also take an inspirational message and just stop by to say hello. It's a wonderful way to get to know these ladies more personally.) Anyway, this is what I took to my 3 ladies this month. They were kinda fun! It was one of the ladies birthdays and so in hers I also included some yummy chocolate....chocolate and a nice cold glass of lemonade and a good book.....now doesn't that sound like summer?

Mom and Me Layout

I LOVE how this layout turned out. I have a strip of photos of my daughter and I from one of those machines at the mall to put on the left. We had a mother/daughter day and it was so much fun. The photos of course are the perfect reminder to spend quality time with those that we love. I love you sweetie and I had fun on our day.
