Christmas Gift Envelopes

What do you get someone who has everything?  Well, gift card/money of course.  But just handing someone money isn't any fun nor is it very creative so I created these cute little envelopes to hold the gift cards/money for the restaurants specified on them, places that they eat often.  Then I tied them with a bow to hold them all together and will give them with a little gift. Hope they like them and enjoy their dates!

Baby It's Cold Outside Layyout

Here's another quick page.  Once again, I'm thankful that my journaling was on the photos as these were taken 3 years ago.  I'm glad I didn't loose that detail since I am so far behind on my scrapbooking.  Before I started to make all my embellishments, I was actually caught up on my scrapbooking.  Then I started to make all my own embellishments because the designers are so good at making cute files.  Unfortunately, it takes so much longer to create everything and I got so far behind.  I love being able to catch up some and spend more time on some pages and less on others.  I also like getting some of these "odd ball or left over" pictures done and in books.  Better in the album, than in my to do pile!  Love this little snowman.  He's one of the Little Scraps of Heaven files and the title was a freebie from Miss Kate's Cuttables again.  Have I mentioned I love free files?  The designers are always so generous!  Thank you so much!!!!

Snowman Gift Card

I needed some gift card holders for Christmas so I found this fun little envelope holder and got to work on making some.  This one I used the little snowman from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I  think he turned out cute!  Love that little hat too!

http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/2015/12/himcr-229-super-scraps-saturday.html I used my green and white paper scraps to  make this.  :-)

Parrot Christmas Gift Card Holder

Here's a little gift card holder that I made using the parrot from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I think he's so cute!  Even a cute little parrot wants to go on a sleigh ride in the snow!  Can you tell it's been snowing here?  LOL.  For the Clear it Out Challenge, the paper is probably at least 6 years old....that counts right?  Hoarder comes to mind.........

Mouse and Candy Cane Card

Isn't this a fun little Christmas card.  I love this little mouse.  This is one of my first attempts at print and cut.  I can tell that if I'm going to do a lot of this, I need to get a better printer.  But, overall I think he's really cute.  The files are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

Fair Time Paper Piecings

This year we went to the fair.  I have the pictures developed and had a few minutes so I made these cute little files to go with those pictures.  Aren't they fun.  The titles I just made, the turtle is from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, the bears are from Cuddly Cute Designs, the popcorn and cotton candy and are from Miss Kate's Cuttables, and I don't know who shared the cute little carmel apple.  (If it's yours, please let me know so I can give you credit!)  Anyway, it was fun to play with a few files today.  Love how they turned out!  Can't wait to put them on a page soon!

Back to School Paper Piecings

Spent the day making these cute little back to school piecings.  I love them!  Sometimes I don't feel like scrapbooking, sometimes, I just want to put together cute little files.  Aren't these adorable.  They came from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  One of these days when I feel like scrapbooking, I will put them on pages.  Until then, they are ready to go when I get in that mood.  LOL.

Twas the night before Christmas

I think this was my favorite two page Christmas layout.  I love how everything turned out.  The little mice are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  The pinecones are a freebie from Miss Kate Cutables.  Such a fun layout!  I even love the pink and green together.  So fun!

That Hurt Paper Piecing Title

My son had a 4-wheeler accident and so I made this title to go on those pages.  I think it turned out cute.  I saw a cute page online that had this title, but it had an xray of broken bones as part of it as her child had broken his arm or leg or something.  I thought it was adorable so I created my own with files and fonts that I already had so that it went better for the accident that my son had.  I think it turned out cute.  I wish I had saved the page, then I could give her credit but.....alas....I didn't.  Sorry!

Christmas Gift Cards Print and Cut

Christmas gift card holders.....ok....so like everyone else, I like to give a personal touch to my Christmas gifts but let's face it, it can take a LOT of time.  This year since I bought a used Sillouhette SD machine, I thought it was the perfect time to make a project using Print and Cut.  (Let's face it....they usually end up in the garbage anyway and since I'm trying to simplify, this is one of the areas I did it in.)  I decided to use the cute little file from Treasure Box Designs.  I got 6 of them on an 8.5x11 piece of paper and cut them out using my new SD.  I'm pretty impressed.  This is only my 3rd print and cut I've done and it cuts pretty close to the original design.  Not perfect but for now I'm ok with it.  I made these cute little gift card holders that open and have a place for a greeting and an slot to hold the gift card.  I think they are a fun way to give a gift card.  Hope my friends think so also!  Overall, pretty pleased with how they turned out and a much quicker way to make them then by hand.  Yeah!

Tree Card

I needed some generic cards for my stash....you know the ones you can use for anything in a pinch....well since they were having a challenge at Die Cut Diva's I decided to use their April sketch for their challenge and get these done.  I think they turned out nice.  :-)  I decided to enter it into these challenges also....

A Day at the Zoo Paper Piecings

I haven't felt like scrapbooking lately, so I've just been making paper piecing for pictures that I have already developed.  I still need to do a couple of parrots or some other animals but here's what I have so far.  The little zebras came from Too Cute by Jessica and the title came from Cuddly Cute Designs.  So cute!  I don't have many files from Cuddly Cute, but the ones I do are so cute.  I spent the afternoon browsing her site and found several that I love!  So fun.

Print and Cut----Looky looky!

These are my first attempts at print and cut!  To say that I am thrilled is underestimating it!  How fun is this....I wish I could say that they were "faster" but by the time I figured it out and got it to read the registration marks it wasn't any faster, but it WAS a lot of fun!  So glad that they turned out.  I still have some things to figure out....why one car cut out the window and the other didn't but I will figure it out.  Just pleased that I got it to finally work!  Yeah!  Now if my printer just made better prints....have I mentioned that I dislike Epson????  (The photo is enhanced...not true to how they printed sadly....)
