Landscape Rectangle Accodion Die with Cupcake Add On

Playing around with a couple more versions of the Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die set.  This time I added the cupcakes.  Next is the fence!  These are so fun.  Since I cut a bunch of pieces, I decided to do 2 cards at once.  However, after having done it the bottom way, I would definately add the "frame" piece like I did on the top one, just to give it some more stability since my cardstock wasn't that thick.  Still ok, but next time I will add the frame or cut them twice to thicken the card.  Overall, it is super fun.  I do happen to like the first one with the sentiment in the middle instead of the cupcakes all the way across, but that is just a personal preference.  I did add the Happy Birthday sentiment that I made on my Scan n Cut to the back panel of the bottom one.  Such a fun card and a great way to make use of a 6x6 paper pad.

Landscape Rectangle Accordion Card - Happy Birthday

So after making the last Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die masculine card from Karen Burniston dies, I decided to make another while I had all the stuff out.  Easier that way.  Such a fun card.  Lovin it.  This one has flowers on it but soft colors.  So fun.

Landscape Rectangle Accordion Card - Happy Birthday Masculine

So I found metal dies by Karen Burniston.  How fun!  I normally use my Silhouette or Cricut to make things, but her dies are so fun!  I must admit, I bought a few.  Shhhh....don't tell.  LOL.  This is the Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die.  I always struggle with making masculine cards, but I think this one nailed it.  The truck is Stampin' Up Trucking Along.  It goes great with this card I think and masculine!  Just love it.

Flip Frame Pop Up Die Card

I recently was given a few pop up die sets and decided to use them.  This one is called the flip frame pop up die from Karen Burniston.  It was a fun card to make.  I did make a mistake on it as I attached it too low and then had to move it so I had to add a piece under the frame because it tore my paper and I didn't have any more to recut.  Next time I won't have to and it will look better, but it was still fun to make and use.   Sure makes a fun card to give.  I added Hello to it and will sign it in the frame on the right when I send it.  So much fun!

Party Animal Birthday Layout

Here's another fun birthday layout.   So fun.   Adding it to the Lasting Memories challenge.

Decked out Halloween Gnome

And just for fun, I thought I would post our Decked out Halloween Gnomes.  This was such a fun project.  We bought $3 gnomes at the Dollar Tree and then bought all kinds of baubles and things to put on their hats.  Michelle and I had so much fun!  What a cute little guy to sit on my shelf for the holiday.  Dollar Tree for the win!

Pop Twist Thank You Card

So while I was at it, I had a friend I needed to send a thank you too for extending our scrapbook retreat stay at her cabin.  I decided to modify the inside of the pop twist card to be a thanks shape instead of the 4 squares.  I like how it turned out.  Another one off to it's recipient.  Hope she enjoys it.  The unedited original file came from Lori Whitlock if you are looking for an svg version.

Pop Twist Love You Card

So while I was making my son a Get Well Card, I decided to make a couple more pop twist cards for some people I know.  This one was an I love you card for a friend going through a hard time.  I love the flower on the front.  Such dimension.  We have a saying in our scrapbooking group that a person needs to be "card worthy" to receive a handmade card.  So many people don't appreciate the time and effort that goes into make one of these.  I hope she enjoys it as she is card worthy!  I modified a Lori Whitlock file.

Pop and Twist Jeep Get Well Card

So my son hasn't been feeling well so I wanted to send him a fun card.  Masculine cards are hard for me, but he likes jeeps and so this is what I came up with.  I actually hope he is feeling better BEFORE he gets this card, but if not, then I hope it at least makes him smile and remember how much he is loved!  The popup mechanism came from a Lori Whitlock file and I just modified it for my needs.  I hope he enjoys it!

Santa, I Believe Layout

I am a recent 12x12 scrapper and this is a layout that I made.  Still getting used to the bigger size, but I love having more room.

Love 12x12 Heart Layout

I saw something similar to this online and just loved it so I made my own file and here is the page.  I don't have a photo of me and my hubby to put on it yet, but just love how this layout turned out.  This 12x12 stuff is fun!

February 2021 Year in Review Layout

So I have been working on doing a year in review challenge.  Here is my latest layout.  This has been such a fun challenge!

August 2021 Year in Review Layout

So my friend challenged me to do a 2 or 4 page layout for each month to get more photos in the book and to not stress about having time to do them all.  She asked me to pick my favorite photos from the month and scrapbook them.  Then some of the memories would be preserved even if I never made it to scrapbooking all of them.  I loved this idea.  This is my August layout.  I am making progress!  And as an extra bonus, I was able to join these challenges.

Snowy Day Layout

Some times you get lucky.  I had these cutouts and they matched perfectly with this scrapbook paper that I have.  It sure made for a quick and easy page.  Sometimes, it's the little things that make you smile.  Love the Christmas lights that my son put on his head.  Silly boy.  Sure do love him.  He brings such love and joy into our home.  So grateful for him.
