Landscape Rectangle Accodion Die with Cupcake Add On

Playing around with a couple more versions of the Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die set.  This time I added the cupcakes.  Next is the fence!  These are so fun.  Since I cut a bunch of pieces, I decided to do 2 cards at once.  However, after having done it the bottom way, I would definately add the "frame" piece like I did on the top one, just to give it some more stability since my cardstock wasn't that thick.  Still ok, but next time I will add the frame or cut them twice to thicken the card.  Overall, it is super fun.  I do happen to like the first one with the sentiment in the middle instead of the cupcakes all the way across, but that is just a personal preference.  I did add the Happy Birthday sentiment that I made on my Scan n Cut to the back panel of the bottom one.  Such a fun card and a great way to make use of a 6x6 paper pad.

Flip Frame Pop Up Die Card

I recently was given a few pop up die sets and decided to use them.  This one is called the flip frame pop up die from Karen Burniston.  It was a fun card to make.  I did make a mistake on it as I attached it too low and then had to move it so I had to add a piece under the frame because it tore my paper and I didn't have any more to recut.  Next time I won't have to and it will look better, but it was still fun to make and use.   Sure makes a fun card to give.  I added Hello to it and will sign it in the frame on the right when I send it.  So much fun!

Pop Up Flower Card

I just got this die and had to give it a try and then liked it so much I bought this flower .svg  like this to use also.  It is easier and faster to cut on the machine as I can cut all pieces at once whereas a die I have to cut one piece at a time.  I love my new cut file.   What a beautiful flower it makes!  I can't wait to try it with some really pretty paper as this was just my first go at it, but I think it is pretty.  Can't wait to use this one again!

With Sympathy Card

I seem to be getting to the age that I have needed a lot of sympathy cards lately.  I hate making sympathy cards because that means they are hurting and it is not a good time for them.  Makes my heart sad.  This is today's design for a friend who just lost her dad.  Having lost my dad, I know how awful that is.  This COVID19 makes a funeral even worse during these time.  I hope it brings her a small smile during a rough time.  Do you have a go to sympathy card that you make?  I really like how this one turned out.   Normally, I just have no ideas....I think I will make this one again and keep it in my stash.....

Get Whale Card Reveal Wheel

This was such a fun card to make.  When you turn the wheel, it says, "get whale soon."  I must admit, the hardest part of the whole card is actually getting the words to appear in the window the way they are suppose to.  It's close but I still need to find out how to fine tune that process.  Here's to hoping I can find an easy way.   LOL.

Mother's Day Card

I finally jumped on the metal die cut band wagon.  I have been scrapping and card making for years and use my cutting machine all the time.  However, metal dies are something that I have never gotten into...I can cut almost anything I need on my machine and a die is limited to only one size so I never felt a need.  Well, I found a group online that uses unbranded dies.  One thing that I love about dies is the intricacy that they have that just isn't the same when cut on my machine.  So finding a bunch of cheaper dies, I thought it would be fun to have a few flourishes, frames, and flowers that I could cut quickly for projects while my machine is cutting other items.   This is my very first die cut card.  I think it turned out nice.   With that being said though, 2 of the 8 dies that were unbranded did not cut but the ones that did, cut so nicely!  Still waiting to see if the company will do anything about the ones that don't cut or not so we shall see if it is really worth it or not.  Of course the 2 most expensive ones were the 2 that didn't cut.  Hmmmm.... anyone else had that issue?
