Pop Twist Thank You Card

So while I was at it, I had a friend I needed to send a thank you too for extending our scrapbook retreat stay at her cabin.  I decided to modify the inside of the pop twist card to be a thanks shape instead of the 4 squares.  I like how it turned out.  Another one off to it's recipient.  Hope she enjoys it.  The unedited original file came from Lori Whitlock if you are looking for an svg version.

Pop Up Flower Card

I just got this die and had to give it a try and then liked it so much I bought this flower .svg  like this to use also.  It is easier and faster to cut on the machine as I can cut all pieces at once whereas a die I have to cut one piece at a time.  I love my new cut file.   What a beautiful flower it makes!  I can't wait to try it with some really pretty paper as this was just my first go at it, but I think it is pretty.  Can't wait to use this one again!

Dragonfly Swing Card

Here's another swing card I made using my left over paper and cuts.  I think they go well together!  Loving the little bug and dots and stripes.  Hope it makes someone smile!

Lady Bug Swing Card

I have a friend who is struggling and decided to make a card for her this week.  So in my browsing, I found a couple of fun challenges and thought I'd make her a card using them.  One was use a Little Scraps of Heaven file and one was a kinectic card.  While reading the one challenge, I must admit, I clicked into it just because I wasn't sure what a kinetic card was.  Then when I realized it was one with motion, I decided to make a swing card.   I haven't made one in a long time and they are just a fun interactive card.  I hope it makes her smile!  The little lady bug is a Little Scraps of Heaven Design file.  Isn't he cute.  I have a few of hers that are my absolute favorite and this is one of them.  I love it.  I've made him blue, red, pink and he's just cute no matter what color you cut him.  So fun.  I love being able to use my scraps too,  This card was done using my leftover paper from another project.  It looks good on this card too.

School Notebook Makeover

Here's a remake on a little notebook.  The worm and books are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I think he makes a cute little addition to this notebook.

Ladybug Box

Here is another set that I got from My Scrap Chick.  I made a couple of these.  This is the ladybug trio set.  It comes with a box, card, and treat topper.  I thought I would give one of these to my secret sister at the retreat filled with goodies.  Isn't it cute.  I am going to give her the card that goes with it also.  Now....what to put in it for her.....  Love how simple it was to put together but how cute it turned out!  That my dear, is a good project!  Simple and cute!

Building Memories Layout

Scrapping Bug Designs offered this cute little bear as a while ago and I loved him so much that I had to play with him today.  He turned out so cute that I decided I needed to make a girl version of him too.  Both wouldn't fit on the layout so I made a peaking girl to go on the top.  I have the world's most amazing husband.  He is truly a Mr. Fix it kind of guy.  Everything from flower beds, to a cabin remodel, to fixing my daughter's hair.  He does it all and never complains.  I am very fortunate to have such an amazing husband and I love him very much.  So I wanted to create this page about all the work he does for our family so that I never forget what a blessing it is to have him as my husband.  I love you honey and thanks for all you do!

The sun is from the Doodlebug cartridge
The truck is from a cartridge too, but I can't remember which one as I cut it a while ago
and the ladybug is a Little Scraps of Heaven file modified by me to make him forward facing.
Hope you enjoy and have a good day!

I'm entering it into the challenge here:

Girl Diaper Cake

My niece is expecting her first baby and her Mom bought her a blanket that is done in brown, hot pink, light pink and white with ladybugs on it.  So I copied the "theme" of her blanket and make this diaper cake to go along with it.  I then made a card that matched the cake to go on the blanket that I'm also giving her.  I actually bought the blanket to put inside the cake but it was too tall and I didn't want to unroll it and then roll it again the right size since I had enough diapers for the cake without it so I'm just giving it to her as part of the gift.  I hope she likes it!  My family thought it was cute!

Lady Bug Shaped Card

I found this challenge where the prize is some of Scrappy Moms stamps.  I haven't tried any of her stamps yet and they are so cute that I decided to join her challenge and made this cute little ladybug shaped card to go on my baby gift for a shower I am going to next week.  I think it's cute!  I made it to match the diaper cake that I will be posting another time.  Isn't this ladybug sweet!  The colors for the shower and nursery are hot pink, light pink, brown and white so voila!  One cute shaped card for my gift and one completed entry for the challenge.  Double duty....love that!  Now if I was only lucky enough to win to try some of her stamps it would be ever better!  LOL.
