Bear Winter Card

Here's a cute little card that I made using one of the Treasure Box Designs bears.  I love this pose!  I somehow made a mistake on posting my blue and white entry for Pause Dream Enjoy Challenge.  I'm not sure how it happened as I normally don't join a challenge unless I see it in my reader first (I make notes of the ongoing challenges and incorporate them while making my entry), but I managed to post my entry for their challenge the day before it started!  Talk about being "ahead" of the game!  LOL.   Maybe I'm psychic! They were super sweet and sent me a nice email correcting me and offered to let me try again!  So....since they were so sweet, I decided to try again by making a new "blue and white" entry.  So....let's see if I can get it right this time!  Sorry....but thank you for letting me try again and thank you for being so sweet about it!

DARE Graduation Layout

I participated in a challenge over at Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and got to choose a file just for creating a project!  Wasn't that sweet!  I choose these little school worms (Teacher's Pet File) and used them on this school graduation layout for my child.  I think these little worms are the cutest thing ever!  I love them!

Nuts About You Gifts

This year I decided to do 12 days of Christmas for my husband.  I've never done that before and thought it would be fun to let him know how special he is to me.  After 20+ years, I think it's a nice way to do something special just for him.  As part of my 12 days of Christmas, I have a can of cashews for him.  So I decided to make these little squirrels and put them on the can.  I liked it so much, I did a second can that I'm giving away as a gift.  Isn't this a fun way to "wrap" a round gift!   On the can it also says, "Nuts About You!"  What a perfect sentiment on them!  Anyway, just a fun idea.   I think I like how the top one turned out better than at the bottom one but..... think they are both fun gifts and a cute way to wrap the can.

Christmas Towel and Mit Set

Aren't these cute!  I bought these mits and matching towels to give to some of my neighbors, school teachers, visiting teaching sisters, etc.  I added a tag that says, "This towel is given in love and with the hope that you will do good works with it as the Savior did so many years ago.  May the absorbing spirit of the season blot out problems, soak up sorrows, and wipe away difficulties."

I think they turned out cute.  Now I just need to go and get more ribbon and I can complete them and the others that I will making.  I'll post the other things I'm doing when I get them done!  LOL.  Ho ho ho.... have a Merry Christmas!

Beach Layout

These pages were so much fun.  I just love these little penguins and when I found this challenge, I knew that I needed to jump in.  It seems that most challenges focus on the next upcoming holiday, but for me, I tend to "miss" the season as it takes me a little while to collage and then scrapbook my pictures.  So when I saw this challenge, I knew I needed to join because I have tons of summer pictures that I still haven't gotten around to doing.  This is some of those picures.  Love these little cuts and how cute they look on this layout.  Fun fun fun!

Snowman Pee Neighbor Gift

My husband wanted something funny to give out to the neighbors and to some of the guys he works with.  Everyone seems to have seen the snowman poop, reindeer poop etc, so I made up a little rhyme about having no room in the freezer and so our snowman gift turned into snowman pee instead.   When I read him the little poem, he just laughed and said he loved it.  I hope they like it because I have a ton of these little "snowman pee" bottles done.  LOL.  I figured I'd do a couple also for the mail man, guitar teacher, school bus driver etc.  Hope they have a sense of humor!  I've also seen a lot of these "flattened" snowmen around so I decided to make my own.  I like him and think he turned out cute.  He's made from paper that is over 3 years old....yep....still trying to use up my paper...I'm afraid that I am a paper hoarder....I have SO much paper it's amazing!  I have done really good lately though, I haven't bought any new paper for quite a while.  Yeah... it's a good thing too, because I don't have any more room for any more paper!  :-)

Staying Warm Layout

Every Christmas, we take time to go play in the snow.  With the holidays approaching, I just couldn't resist creating a Christmas layout anticipating all the fun we will have again this Christmas season.  At KaDoodle Bug Designs they have some Kristi W. Designs files and they shared a freebie file called "Sweet on You Bears," which I used in my Tea Party Layout I posted before.  Well, they also have another set called "Roasting with Friends."  The little bear looked pretty much the same so I used the bear from the Sweet on You Bears set and the hat and scarf from her "Winter Snow Bunnies" set that I own and created my own Staying Warm Bears!  I'm not sure where I got the fire file, but the stick from my marshmallow is the same stick, just made thinner and my marshmallow is a warped basic shape.  The snowman came from the Winter Snow Bunnies file, but I used a different hat that I had leftover from my Birthday Fun to Crow about layout.  The sled was a google search convert and the trees I had cut left over from a project from last year (my forgotten stash item)!  Ha ha!  All in all, I think it's a pretty cute replica using files that I already owned instead of purchasing a new set.  My font is Baby Kruff.  What do you think?
