Bunny Box

I had purchased this cute little bunny box awhile ago from My Scrap Chick.  I love their boxes as they are so easy to assemble and super cute to give as a little gift.  Since we were in quarantine, I decided to make these little bunnies to put in my kids Easter baskets to make them look a little more festive.  I also made some cute little frogs and I had some Easter eggs on sticks that I had intended to put on a wreath, but was so glad that I had them on hand.  As it was, their Easter baskets turned out so super cute and they didn't feel bad at all on Easter morning.  I know that isn't the real meaning of Easter, but it is fun to have a little something just for fun after we talk about why we truly celebrate the season.

Little Froggy Gift Box

My Scrap  Chick offered this cute little freebie the other day.  I just couldn't resist making him.  I liked him so much, I made a bunch of friends for him to hang out with until they all findd new homes to someone who needs a smill.  If you want a super cute, fun, fast gift, this is the one!  He came together really fast and I think he looks adorable!

Interchangeable Truck Banner

I LOVE how this turned out.  I made this interchangeable truck banner.  The pumpkins can be removed and a tree, shamrock, heart, Easter eggs etc. can be put into it.  That way it can be used year round if I want.  I can even add a cake or presents for everyone's birthdays.  Super cute and fun.  I did however, remove 2 of the trucks.  I thought it looked a little congested where it was hanging so I used 3 trucks instead of the 5 I originally started with but I didn't retake the photo.  Either way, I think you get the idea.  Now I have a couple extra trucks to put on a scrapbook page.  So much fun or maybe I will make one more and make one for a friend.  Either way, I love how it turned out.  Hope you do too.  Have a great day!  I am sharing it with the challenges below:

Happy Easter Bear Basket Card

Here's a fun little Easter card I made from KaDoodle Bug Designs cuts.  So cute.  The little bear was originally a brow bear and I just cut him in black.  He makes a cute little black bear too!  The Easter items were from a retired bunny set I got from them a few years ago too!  I like to use different animals than the traditional Easter ones sometimes.  I think this looks very Eastery without a bunny or chick!

Cute as a Bunny Layout

I love it when I can get lots of pictures on a two page layout.  Sure makes better use of my scrap-booking time.  These are last years Easter pictures.  I decided I had better get them done before having to do this years!  LOL.  I am entering it into these challenges:

Another example of how I use extra piecings on different layouts

If you read my last post, I was commenting on how I choose to buy patterns and why.  If you want to read it, scroll down.  LOL.  This is another example of how I use extra piecings on different projects.  If you look at all these cute bunnies, you will notice that they are all from the same set used in different ways with different poses and sometimes different faces.  I used these bunnies to make a "Coloring Eggs" layout alone with a "You are Somebunny Special" and several cards.  I used a gray paper which I don't use often so I didn't have any scraps on hand and so since I always try to cut as many as possible as would fit on my paper, I had lots of bunnies hopping around my work station.  LOL.  Here's how I used them!  See how the layouts are different but that I used the same piecings?  Just FYI, the bunnies actually came from a Valentine's set and yet I didn't use them on a Valentine's Day layout at all.  I switched out the hearts and added eggs instead.  Anyway.... just another example on how to use the same pattern differently.  Enjoy!

Easter Layout Page

Here is another Easter page that I made.  I needed an additional page for my pictures so....here it is.  I love the little bird and bugs.  Aren't they adorable!  The little bird, ladybug, and rose are files from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.

You Are SomeBunny Special

I love how this layout turned out.  These little bunnies were actually a Valentine's set and I just adapted them for an Easter layout for some pictures of my daughter.  I love how they turned out. So cute and I love the bunnies in grey!  These little bunnies are Kristi W. Designs bunnies and are oh so cute!  I even used my Treasure Box Designs face stamp on the bunny with the glasses.  I think it made him look cute and different from the others that I did.  Generally I find that the Treasure Box face stamps that I have are way to big for what I need them for but every now and again I have the perfect project for them.  I think that's why I've been loving my Peachy Keen face stamps lately as they are the perfect size for what I generally create which makes them way more usable for me.  I love usable!  LOL.  Have a great day!

It's Your Day Bunny Card

Here's a cute little Valentine's Day card I did with a left over bunny from my "You are somebunny special" layout.  I think these little bunnies are so cute.  She's a Kristi W. Designs file and adorable!  Cute card for my daughter for Valentine's Day.  :-)

Easter Tweets Layout

Here is an Easter Tweets layout that I did on NSD using a little freebie blue bird file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I don't have many of her files, but thought these cute little birds would look cute on an Easter page.

I'm entering it into these NSD challenges:

green, at least 1 diecut, and a square (my pictures are 4x4's that go on these pages but I didn't want to post pictures of my kids so....)

Beary Loved Layout

I just love these little bears! Aren't they adorable. On this layout I have 2 6x4 pictures-one of my hubby and I and one of the kids on Easter morning. They look so adorable on this layout. (Someone said it was distracting for me to put shapes on my families pictures to hide their faces, so I just left them off this time so you can see the layout without the photos on it.  I try to remember that but I'm a scrapper way before I'm a blogger!  LOL.) Anyway, isn't this a fun springy layout. One of my favorite flowers is the daisy.  I'm hoping for warmer weather soon so I couldn't resist some springy flowers to go with our Easter pictures.

Egg Hunt Layout

I've been on a roll lately.  I've completed 31 pages.  Yep you heard me, 31 pages.  I was in a no scrapbook mode for a while where I didn't want to scrapbook, just make paper piecings ever now and then and so I have a few paper piecings done that I can mix and match and put on layouts as I want.  Much faster when it actually comes to scrapbooking.....at least I think so.....I've been in my scraproom all day so maybe not!  LOL.  Anyway since I was scrapbooking, I decided that I'd better get my Easter pictures from last year done before this year's Easter arrives.  So, here is another 2 page layout for my scrapbook. I'm loving the variety of paper piecings on these.  It's nice to cut a few images for a special event and then fill in with others.  I like that "non" traditional feel it has been giving these.  Nice change for a few minutes until my piecings run out anyway!

Got Eggs Easter Layout

Figured I'd better start working on last years Easter pictures before this one arrives....LOL. Anyone else do that? These patterns are from Treasure Box Designs in case you were wondering. Aren't they adorable! Love them!  Her patterns are my favorite!  I get to enter this into not only one of her challenges using her files but also one of my favorite things challenges listed below.  Lovin it!
