Wrestling Layout

Wrestling items are so hard to find.  It was so nice to actually find paper and stickers to use on a layout.   I knew my son would like these no frills layouts so these are for him.  So proud of him and it has been so fun to watch him improve.   Good job son!

Love You 2 Pieces Layout

I have been trying to get caught up on some scrapbooking and so I have been watching challenges to get me going.  Today, I a challenge to use stripes and an anything goes.  I had this striped paper on hand and decided it would go well with these photos.  Yeah!  Once again loving the print and cut!  I had made a couple of these titles awhile ago and it worked great for this layout too! Love using those items I have on hand with new ones.  Another page done!  Yeah!  Title I made myself but the print and cut are from Treasure Box Designs.

You had me at Hello Layout

Another layout created from leftovers from other layouts.  That's a great way to bash my stash.  I love being able to make cute layouts with leftovers.  That's a win win!  However, I love the man in the photos more than any layout!  haha.  This year we have had an early winter with 6 inches of snow already in October!  Yikes.  So this layout is fall/winter because this year it came super early.  Sadly, we didn't get warm until July either.  So very little summer and right back into winter.  It's going to be a long 9 months!

Zoe Grace Layout

This was another fun layout I created using a gift kit I received c couple years ago.  I have loved this kit.  It has been so much fun.  After loosing our sweet Coco, we got our cute little Zoe.  Zoe is the first dog that we have ever given a middle name to.  She is just the cutest, but clutziest little thing.  Hence her name, Zoe Grace.  Because she is so NOT graceful.  She just makes us laugh.  Silly little dog.

Let It Snow Layout

Winter fun!  We love playing in the snow!  These cute little snowmen and snowmobile rider are from Treasure Box Designs.  I did them in print and cut too.  My goal this week is to do as many odd ball pictures that I have laying around as possible.  You know.....the ones that you have a few photos of different events that you've never gotten around to doing.  I have a whole stack of those and I am trying to get them done and in the book.  Print and cut is making it possible to do that.  Woo hoo!  It also helps that I found a challenge to motivate me on this page.  LOL.  Love that!

Fall Days Layout Corn Maze

This was a really quick and fun page to put together.  The flowers and title came from Miss Kate's Cuttables and other than that I just used coordinating papers.  I do love the movement of this page and it was fun to let the paper be it's own embellishment.  I have SO much paper that I need to do more layouts like this!  LOL.  Anyone else admit to being a paper hoarder?

Happy Anniversary Layout

Here is the quickest layout I have done in forever.  The paper came that way so all I did was add photos, a title, and the 25.  Not sure when the last time I created a layout so fast.  Gotta love that! We have been planning to go to Cancun for our anniversary but haven't found the right package yet.  So we stole away for a weekend getaway at a cabin and went floating down the river, we took takeout from our favorite restaurants with us, and went to a dinner/comedy/show while we were out of town.  It was a really fun, relaxing anniversary and can't wait to go get away to  Cancun soon.   Happy Anniversary sweetie!  May the next 25 years be just as great!  I am so lucky to have married my very best friend!

12x12 Summer Grid Kit

And here is my summer version of my grid kit set!  I love how these are turning out.  Such a fun project, fits in the frame, hangs out on  a shelf, and is easy to update!  Lovin these!

Congratulations Reveal Wheel Card

I had bought these cute little stamps and the reveal wheel set and wanted to use it.  I must admit, these are so fun!  It takes a bit to get the stamps to line up, but such a fun interactive card.  These are a perfect way to use up those 6x6 paper pads that we all have stashed around.  I love how it turned out.  I wish them luck as they move on to new adventures in their life and hope they enjoy the card and remember us!

12x12 Seasonal Grid Kit Fall

Ok....so I had a friend making these 12x12 grid kits from Mom and Me Scrapbooking   However the price of $25 plus the frame of $20 added up quickly as they had one for each month.  I thought they were so cute so I thought to myself, why don't I make something like that but with just paper and not wood pieces.  This is what I came up with and the bonus is, I didn't buy anything to make it.  It was created with my own stash and cut files I already had.  I insert this into a 12x12 shadow box frame and can change the seasons as I want and the bonus is, they all fit behind each other in the frame!  This is my "fall" version of my grid kit.  The files are Miss Kate's Cuttables and cricut cuts.  I think it turned out cute.  Can't wait to give a set to my secret sister!  What do you think?  Now on to make winter, spring, and summer.

Picture Changer Card - Smile - Bear

I LOVE LOVE these picture changer cards.  How absolutely fun is this?  This has got to be a way to make someone smile.  I think I could play with them all day.  So much fun to make and receive.  It was also a fun way to learn to use more stamps.  I have been a scrapbooker for years, but I have only been a stamper for about a month.  Sometimes, it is fun to do something new.  I am liking it.

Christmas Eve 2016 Layouts

So I had these borders left over from a big project that I did and decided to do some pages to go with a Christmas challenge that was posted.  By combining them in a different way, I was able to do another 4 page layout set with my scraps.  Even the trees and snowflakes came from leftover scraps.  I just cut them into these cute little trees which I LOVE.  Who knew little trees could make me so happy.  LOL.  I am so behind on Christmas.... one more event done!

Interchangeable Truck Banner

I LOVE how this turned out.  I made this interchangeable truck banner.  The pumpkins can be removed and a tree, shamrock, heart, Easter eggs etc. can be put into it.  That way it can be used year round if I want.  I can even add a cake or presents for everyone's birthdays.  Super cute and fun.  I did however, remove 2 of the trucks.  I thought it looked a little congested where it was hanging so I used 3 trucks instead of the 5 I originally started with but I didn't retake the photo.  Either way, I think you get the idea.  Now I have a couple extra trucks to put on a scrapbook page.  So much fun or maybe I will make one more and make one for a friend.  Either way, I love how it turned out.  Hope you do too.  Have a great day!  I am sharing it with the challenges below:

Bird Box

Isn't this a cute little bird box.  I love him.  He's from https://www.myscrapchick.com/.  Such a cute little file.  So easy to put together and turns out so fun.  After making him and showing my friend, I got an order to make 23 more.  That's a win win!  So now I am off to get busy.

Get Whale Card Reveal Wheel

This was such a fun card to make.  When you turn the wheel, it says, "get whale soon."  I must admit, the hardest part of the whole card is actually getting the words to appear in the window the way they are suppose to.  It's close but I still need to find out how to fine tune that process.  Here's to hoping I can find an easy way.   LOL.

I love my dog Coco layout

In January of 2018, we lost my sweet little Coco.  She was honestly the best dog I have ever had.  She followed me everywhere.  Once time she even went up in a 40 foot boom truck and wasn't even scared as long as I was holding her.  She followed me everywhere and was truly my little side kick.  Sadly when she was just over 9 years old she developed kidney failure and her levels were so high they couldn't help her.  I even tried making homemade dog food to get her to eat but she wouldn't have any of it.  She was brave and sweet right up to the end.  I still miss her so much!  She was truly the sweetest and best little companion.

Round Bee Shaped Card

I have just started buying a few metal dies.  I have the original cuttlebug that I have been using for years with embossing folders, but I have never die cut anything with it until recently.  This circle set is one of the first I got.  I decided to start with a basic shaped card.  So cute and so easy.  I should do more shaped cards but....I never seem too...maybe this will inspire me to do more.

Truck Pop and Twist Card

I have a hard time with manly birthday cards.  I decided to turn this pop and twist into a birthday card.  I think the papers and the truck give it a more masculine feel than others.  Hope he likes it.

Happy Campers Layout

I had fun making this layout.  The cute papers all came from a kit I was given at a scrapbooking retreat from my secret sister and the cutouts were some from grab bags I got at Our on a Limb for .80.  They were well worth the money.  So many of the ladies wouldn't even look at them, but since I cut so many files, I had a good idea what some of the pieces would make so I bought them in an unmarked bag.  We often go to a cabin and we spend a lot of time outdoors so I knew that these pine cones would go somewhere.  The colors look like they were made for this page.  Love it!

Happy Father's Day Toolbox Card

Aren't these fun.  These are Lori Whitlock files.  I needed something for Father's Day and decided to give these a try.  I made one for my hubby and for my FIL.  I really wish my Dad was still here so I could have made him one also.   I hope they like them.  This was a fun explosion box.  I did adhere the back to the toolbox to give it more stability, but the fileis actually designed to be an explosion box.

Picture Changer - Smile, Frog, Rainboots

I LOVE LOVE these picture changer cards.  How absolutely fun is this?  This has got to be a way to make someone smile.  I think I could play with them all day.  So much fun to make and receive.  It was also a fun way to learn to use more stamps.  I have been a scrapbooker for years, but I have only been a stamper for about a month.  Sometimes, it is fun to do something new.  So much fun!

Congratulations Piggy Card

Sorry about the poor picture, but ..... not sure what happened.  This was one of  first stamping and coloring projects.  I masked off the pig and stamped the fence and then masked the fence and inked the background.  These were so much fun!  I love how it turned out.  I spent a few hours stamping and coloring and it was so fun.  I need to order more stamps!  I never have gotten into stamping because I could never get a clean image.  I bought a Tim Holtz stamping platform and LOVE LOVE LOVE it.  Everyone should have one.  What a whole new world this is to me.  So much fun!  Hope you like it.

3 Peaking Bird Card

What a fun project.   I saw a few cards online like this and decided to give it a try.   I love these little birds.  They are so fun!  I am still learning to blend with my markers, but I think, these turned out pretty cute.

Happy Birthday Bear Card

This was a fun card to make.   I used my new metallic rubons to create the metal look on the embossed cogs in the background.  It turned our so nice.  This card is for my FIL.  Inside it says, "Growing old is mandatory, growing up is optional!"  LOL.  Like father, like son....just sayin.'

Magic Color Slider Card 1

Oh my goodness, these were SOOO fun.  I wanted a few videos on this color slider card and thought it was so fun.  I don't buy many dies, so I googled a video on how to make them and found a lady that made them manually and in her video she gave the measurements of the card she made.  I wish I had bookmarked the site so I could give her credit, but I didn't.   But I paused the video and wrote down the measurements while I was watching it.   A couple days later, I had a few moments and created my own SVG version of this color slider card and made a bunch of these.  It was so fun.  It was my first time using my new markers and inks to color this card and my first time using acetate on a card.  I even learned that you have to have special ink to do this.  LOL.  With a little tweeking and time, I finally got it.  Because I was learning how to color and ink, I made a bunch of these.  So much fun!  Can't wait to post several more.  I hope you like them.  This one was my first and I made it for a friend who was going through a hard time.  I hope it made her smile.

Mother's Day Card

I finally jumped on the metal die cut band wagon.  I have been scrapping and card making for years and use my cutting machine all the time.  However, metal dies are something that I have never gotten into...I can cut almost anything I need on my machine and a die is limited to only one size so I never felt a need.  Well, I found a group online that uses unbranded dies.  One thing that I love about dies is the intricacy that they have that just isn't the same when cut on my machine.  So finding a bunch of cheaper dies, I thought it would be fun to have a few flourishes, frames, and flowers that I could cut quickly for projects while my machine is cutting other items.   This is my very first die cut card.  I think it turned out nice.   With that being said though, 2 of the 8 dies that were unbranded did not cut but the ones that did, cut so nicely!  Still waiting to see if the company will do anything about the ones that don't cut or not so we shall see if it is really worth it or not.  Of course the 2 most expensive ones were the 2 that didn't cut.  Hmmmm.... anyone else had that issue?

Spring Frogs and Baby Birds Layout

Ok...so here is another adorable layout that I love!  As I was pondering my photos and my leftover cuts, I decided to create a fun spring layout for a couple challenges.  Love being able to use some "leftover" cuts on another layout.  That is why I "do" left over cuts.  If you don't remember, I always cut as many as will fit on the paper that I am using.  That way, I have left over cuts to use as I create new layouts and cards when I need them.  It works for me.  I love this little frog.  He is so cute and the birds in the nest just speaks to my heart.  I am ready for Spring.

http://diecuttindivas.blogspot.com/2019/03/ch-413-favorite-color-combination.html - my favorite color is hot pink but I love it with a blue or lime green.  This layout has all 3!

Lady Bug Swing Card

I have a friend who is struggling and decided to make a card for her this week.  So in my browsing, I found a couple of fun challenges and thought I'd make her a card using them.  One was use a Little Scraps of Heaven file and one was a kinectic card.  While reading the one challenge, I must admit, I clicked into it just because I wasn't sure what a kinetic card was.  Then when I realized it was one with motion, I decided to make a swing card.   I haven't made one in a long time and they are just a fun interactive card.  I hope it makes her smile!  The little lady bug is a Little Scraps of Heaven Design file.  Isn't he cute.  I have a few of hers that are my absolute favorite and this is one of them.  I love it.  I've made him blue, red, pink and he's just cute no matter what color you cut him.  So fun.  I love being able to use my scraps too,  This card was done using my leftover paper from another project.  It looks good on this card too.

Selfie Layout

In all my 20 years of scrapbooking, I think this is the first page I have done of myself.  I love the movement and colors on this page.    I have been trying to not buy more supplies and to use what I have and since I have an abundance of paper, I have been trying to use more paper on my pages.  Doing layouts this way, uses more paper which is always a good thing!  LOL.   I have more paper than I know what to do with.....It's my purchasing weakness.  Ever since I got my cricut machine YEARS ago, I have collected paper because with the machine, you can create anything you want with just paper.  This system in a good one so that there is lots of color, faster pages, and using what I already have.  Lovin' it.

Green Embossed Card Set

These were so fun to make.   It's hard to tell, but the white, black and green are embossed in different folders giving this set a fun look.  Similar, but different.  I like them because they aren't as feminine and so they are great for the male population.  So much fun!
