Bunny Box

I had purchased this cute little bunny box awhile ago from My Scrap Chick.  I love their boxes as they are so easy to assemble and super cute to give as a little gift.  Since we were in quarantine, I decided to make these little bunnies to put in my kids Easter baskets to make them look a little more festive.  I also made some cute little frogs and I had some Easter eggs on sticks that I had intended to put on a wreath, but was so glad that I had them on hand.  As it was, their Easter baskets turned out so super cute and they didn't feel bad at all on Easter morning.  I know that isn't the real meaning of Easter, but it is fun to have a little something just for fun after we talk about why we truly celebrate the season.

Little Froggy Gift Box

My Scrap  Chick offered this cute little freebie the other day.  I just couldn't resist making him.  I liked him so much, I made a bunch of friends for him to hang out with until they all findd new homes to someone who needs a smill.  If you want a super cute, fun, fast gift, this is the one!  He came together really fast and I think he looks adorable!

Bird Box

Isn't this a cute little bird box.  I love him.  He's from https://www.myscrapchick.com/.  Such a cute little file.  So easy to put together and turns out so fun.  After making him and showing my friend, I got an order to make 23 more.  That's a win win!  So now I am off to get busy.

Retreat Party Explosion Box

So I have never done an explosion box but they had the cutest birthday set over at Dreaming Tree that I just had to have!  One of files in the set was an explosion box.  Can I say, oh my goodness!  How absolutely fun and easy is this!!!!  I have a retreat coming up soon so I decided this was a good time to try to make this.  I hope she likes it.  I think I'll fill it with some kind of treats....chocolate maybe?  LOL.  Everyone loves chocolate right?  I think I'll make one of these for my daughter and put a gift card in it.  What teenager doesn't like money?   Now I need to make the cupcake gift box.  It is adorable also.  If it's as easy to work with as this file, I'm sold!  I love the balloons and party hat!  Doesn't this just scream party and have fun!  I LOVE it!

Treat Gift Trio

Here is the whole set together.   My treat box trio. This will be day one of my secret sister gift at my scrapbooking retreat that I am going to.  I'm going to put some type of chocolate in the too.  I hope she likes it.  I think it turned out cute.  Two more gifts to go.

Christmas Gift Envelopes

What do you get someone who has everything?  Well, gift card/money of course.  But just handing someone money isn't any fun nor is it very creative so I created these cute little envelopes to hold the gift cards/money for the restaurants specified on them, places that they eat often.  Then I tied them with a bow to hold them all together and will give them with a little gift. Hope they like them and enjoy their dates!

Snowman Gift Card

I needed some gift card holders for Christmas so I found this fun little envelope holder and got to work on making some.  This one I used the little snowman from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  I  think he turned out cute!  Love that little hat too!

http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/2015/12/himcr-229-super-scraps-saturday.html I used my green and white paper scraps to  make this.  :-)

Christmas Gift Cards Print and Cut

Christmas gift card holders.....ok....so like everyone else, I like to give a personal touch to my Christmas gifts but let's face it, it can take a LOT of time.  This year since I bought a used Sillouhette SD machine, I thought it was the perfect time to make a project using Print and Cut.  (Let's face it....they usually end up in the garbage anyway and since I'm trying to simplify, this is one of the areas I did it in.)  I decided to use the cute little file from Treasure Box Designs.  I got 6 of them on an 8.5x11 piece of paper and cut them out using my new SD.  I'm pretty impressed.  This is only my 3rd print and cut I've done and it cuts pretty close to the original design.  Not perfect but for now I'm ok with it.  I made these cute little gift card holders that open and have a place for a greeting and an slot to hold the gift card.  I think they are a fun way to give a gift card.  Hope my friends think so also!  Overall, pretty pleased with how they turned out and a much quicker way to make them then by hand.  Yeah!

Gingerbread Belly Box

So the snowman belly box that I did the other day from My Scrap Chick turned out so cute and easy to assemble, I decided to make his friend.  I love this one too.  I made 8 snowmen and only 1 of this little guy so far, but I will be making more of them.  So cute and fun!  Hope everyone likes them this year!

Ladybug Box

Here is another set that I got from My Scrap Chick.  I made a couple of these.  This is the ladybug trio set.  It comes with a box, card, and treat topper.  I thought I would give one of these to my secret sister at the retreat filled with goodies.  Isn't it cute.  I am going to give her the card that goes with it also.  Now....what to put in it for her.....  Love how simple it was to put together but how cute it turned out!  That my dear, is a good project!  Simple and cute!

You're Sweet Ice Cream Gift

I don't know why the coloring of this is so off, but....you get the idea.  I am headed to a scrapbooking retreat and each day we do a gift for a secret sister.  I had seen these online somewhere and decided to make one.  After making the cherry for the top, I thought, "Wouldn't it be fun to make a few more and a title that would be used as decorations when I give it to her but that she could use on a scrapbook page herself?"  So, having cut extras anyway, I set out to find a title.  KaDoodle Bug designs had already created this You're Sweet title so I just welded and cut it.  The cherry's are from an ice cream cone from Miss Kate's Cuttables.  So cute.  I hope she likes it.  One day down, 3 more to go!

Candy Boquette

My daughter is having a special birthday this year and I wanted to do some different fun things for her.  I saw these "pop" bouquets last year but had no occasion for them.  This year I decided this would be a fun and cute item to make for her and have it delivered to her at school.  After I completed the bouquet, I had found a post where she had made these cute bows out of newspaper.  Well, I thought that it would be cute out of some of the leftover paper I had from other projects for my daughter's birthday so... this cute bow became the topper to my bouquet.  I think it adds a nice touch!  She's going to love it!

Bird Treat Bag

Over at AKA Abusybee they were have a challenge to use a button, bow or brad and over at KaDoodleBug Designs and Scrappy Moms Stamps, they were having a challenge to use one of their files for candy.  Then I found a sketch challenge at Die Cutting Diva's so I decided to combine them and this is what I came up with.  A cute little treat bag.  Aren't these little birds so cute.  Not to mention it gave me an excuse to use my twine.  Gotta love that!

Valentine's Gift Treat Bags

Every year I make my hubby and kids Valentine's gifts.  The other day I realized that it's fast approaching and I hadn't made anything so I decided I'd better get busy.  I found these cute little cookies and cream hearts at the dollar store and bought them along with some exploding packets that contain a balloon that puffs up when it's hit.  I've never seen anything like that before so I had to buy those just for the novelty of them.  So I came home and made these cute little gift bags for part of their Valentine's gifts. I think they are cute!  I actually used a leftover lamb on one of them from a layout I did 2 years ago and just had it left over.  I love using a left over and having it look so cute!  That's always a bonus!  LOL.

Just Checking In gift

One of our friends lost their son a few years ago.  I was thinking about their family around the time of year when he died and decided to make this little thinking of you gift.  Not much, but just a note to let them know I was thinking about them.

Get Whale Gift

I have a friend who has influenza and feels pretty awful about now so I decided to make a little care package for her.  I won a challenge over at  http://www.hidinginmycraftroom.com/2013/02/winners.html and I just received my prize in the mail.  I get so excited when I get new scrapbook stuff that I just had to just use it now.  Anyone else like that?    LOL.  So I decided to use her cute little pocket and tag to stick on my friends "Get Whale" package.  I think it ads a cute look to a simple brown bag.  Thanks so much for the wonderful gift Laurie!  I love them!  In the bag I put some cold and flu items including a can of chicken noodle soup and on the tag a recipe for a cold/flu remedy that seems to help at our house.  I hope she gets feeling better soon!

Finished Valentine's Gifts

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!  Now that it's actually Valentine's Day, I can share with you waht I made for my family.  Each of my family got a set of these in various colors.  You can see example on my other posts, but I like to take a picture of everything together so that I can scrapbook it with a picture of my family for the year so..... I can now officially post this because they have already received them and eaten part of the candy!  LOL.  I hope you have a wonderful Valentine's Day!

Valentine Pillow Box

Isn't this little squirrel adorable?  He's a Designs on Cloud 9 file and I Love him.  He's the perfect Valentine creature.  I was going to use the saying "Nuts about you" but it was too long and didn't fit on the heart.  Inside the box is a package of peanut M&M's.  Yum! I made one of these for my hubby and each of my kids.  :-)
