Tag swap

Ok....so here is my final tag for the tag swap I joined. I think this one turned out cute! Woosh.....I just made it as school is out! Now I just need to get these sent off so I don't have to worry about them until I get the swap back. I haven't joined a swap in a long time and it was fun. I can't wait to get everyone's back. :-)

Teacher appreciation card

Well, school is fast approaching it's end for the year and I thought I'd better get our teacher appreciation cards done. This is what I came up with this year. Now I'll write a thank you inside and have the kids do the same. Once done, they can take them to their teachers. :-) I had fun playing with my embossing folders. I haven't used my cuttlebug much and thought I needed to so I've been trying to use it more lately. :-) I really like the swirls on the apple. Cute cute! The apple is a .svg file that I found online along with the word thanks and the cute little worm is actually from a cartridge! LOL. Can you believe it!

Star Mesh

My daughter recently participated in a Patriotic Program at school. I cut this mesh to use as a background on those pages. I think I like it on the white background better.....I LOVE mesh. I must have 100 of these different cuts! Now I just need time and pictures to use with them! Maybe I should shrink them down and use them for cards too......hmmmmm......

Bowling

I just wanted to show a couple of people that I know what is possible with Make-the-Cut software. Here is a title I created using the term "Bowling." If you look close the "O" and the middle of the "G" are bowling balls and the "I" is a bowling pin. I then took the same bowling ball image and cut it bigger and put it on the side of the page. In the blank space is where I will put two 4x6 pictures of my family bowling at a Christmas party.. Anyway....notice how all the letters, the bowling ball, and the bowling pin are welded, and matted. Easy peasy....

Bee Happy Bee Humble Bee True

See my bee's! LOL. I didn't have a really cute bee file and wanted one so I got online and found this cute little bee on a coloring book site. I think he turned out adorable. I LOVE how easy it is to take something and make what I want and then to even "flip" him so that I can have a left and right image. Way cute. Anyway....fun fun fun!

Tag Swap

Ok...so here is another tag I made for the swap. For some reason, I had brain freeze when I started on this one. Finally, it came together and I l ike how it turned out. I had originally started out as wanting the pumpkin to be like a vase with flowers coming out but I couldn't get it to look right so I eventually gave up and did this type of pumpkin instead. I really like how the embossing and inking turned out on the pumpkin. Yeah for the cuttlebug and for Mother's Day which is when I usually get all these fun toys! LOL....

Bifold Card

Hi. I saw the cutest trifold card on Everyday Cicut the other day and LOVED it! It was made with a cricut cartridge that I don't have so I posted to the SCALHints forum to see if anyone had anything like it, and Penny Duncan did! This isn't exactly the same obviously, but it is the same idea and it turned out wonderful! I liked it so much I'm going to make a couple more. I need a few cards to send to some people that I know and thought this would be just perfect! Thank you Penny! I LOVE it!

Mother's Day Card

Ok...so I needed one more Mother's Day card this year. I actually cut this card base a while ago using one of Wanda's files that she adapted from one of Penny's SVGs....I think! LOL. Anyway, it was just sitting there and I needed another card so this is what I did with it. Please ignore the paperclip, I just slipped it on so that you could see the folding and then the white under the folding. It is a very pretty technique and I think it turned out nice. Now let's just hope my Grandma thinks so!

If you haven't been to Penny's blog or Wanda's blog, here are their addys....but if you do, I'm warning you to grab your drink and snack first because you won't be able to tear yourself away for a while!

Tags

I found a fun online group recently and decided to join and play along. They were doing a tag swap with different categories. I used to do a lot of swaps when I first started scrapbooking because it was a fun way to get different supplies and ideas but I haven't done one in several years. Well for some reason, maybe because the deadline was so far off, I decided to join. These are two of my tags for the swap. I hope they like them! The santa head is from a the Christmas collection from the link below.....and the cupcake is actually a couple of different cupcakes combined to actually make the one I liked....LOL....that's what I love about MTC and SCAL... flexability....
