I love Ewe Layout

Well it's almost Valentine's Day again and I still had my pictures from last year to scrapbook, so I'm jumping in on some challenges (which are great motivators I might add) to get something done.  Better late than never and if I do them now, I won't have two years worth of Valentine's photos to do all at once!  LOL.  The little sheep are Treasure Box Designs files and one of the very first sets I purchased just because they had all the animals in them.  Aren't they cute.  I love how the embossing turned out on them.  It was also a good way to use that very busy heart paper that I wasn't sure "how" I was ever going to use because it was a little over powering.  As a border, it looks just fine!  LOL.  At some point I need to get busy working on this years Valentine's gifts.....but.....

Happy Birthday Bear Card

Here's a fun little birthday card that I made using a bear from Scrapping Bug Designs.  It was originally a boy bear, but I just changed the colors and added a bow and a flower and voila.... a girl bear instead. I think she looks cute on a birthday card for a girl who is NOT a girly girl!  LOL.  Hope she likes it!

Snow Layout

I've had this picture of my hubby for a little while and finally got around to doing a two page layout with it and additional pictures of him and the guys snowmobiling.  He's such a wonderful husband and father and I am so lucky.  The guys decided to do one of his favorite rides last weekend, but instead of going on Friday like they usually do, they went on Saturday and so my hubby decided to stay home because our son had a basketball game....which they won! Woo hoo.  I am blessed with an amazing husband who always puts his family first and together we have great kids!

I'm entering this one at My Sheri Crafts below:

Sing-a-Long Layout

I had these little dragons from  Designs on Cloud 9 that my son just loved.  Since he liked them so much, I decided to do a layout of his with them on it.  I think they look so cute!

I'm entering this one in the "Warm it Up Challenge" (use orange, red, and yellow) and what says warm like a dragon too?  Can't that also count?  LOL.  Anyway, there challenge is here:

Since it's a "use-it-tuesday" project, I figured I'd better tell you that this background paper is so old I can't even remember how many years ago I got it..... I'm talking like at least 10!  Yep....that's why I'm trying to use it up....so I can buy some new!  LOL.

It's Your Day Bunny Card

Here's a cute little Valentine's Day card I did with a left over bunny from my "You are somebunny special" layout.  I think these little bunnies are so cute.  She's a Kristi W. Designs file and adorable!  Cute card for my daughter for Valentine's Day.  :-)

I Got an Ipod for Christmas Layout

I love how these pages turned out.  Obviously, my kids got new (used) ipods for Christmas!  They were so excited.  It was so fun watching their faces and seeing their joy.  I love my kids.  These little bears were a freebie from Scrapping Bug Designs and I thought they were perfect.  The rest of the embellishments came from an old QVC Christmas kit that I bought several years ago.  I love how the colors all came together on this one.

Tea Time Layout 3

Here is my third and last set of pages for my Tea Time Layout.  The little bear is a Treasure Box Designs file, the little green  bird is a freebie from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs (He's one of my favorites!) and the little bluebirds are my converted penguin file cut on blue paper instead of black.  I love that little blue bird.  They are actually leftovers from my Christmas Layouts last year but she looks perfect peaking out of that tea cup!  The teacup and teapot, I don't remember where they were downloaded from but they are just right for this set.  I remember downloading them thinking "What will I ever do with a teapot and teacup as I don't drink tea or coffee?"  Well, you save them anyway (cuz they're cute nd you're an SVG Hoarder) for when you go to a etiquette party with your daughter and have lavender lemonade and crumpets of course!

Have you ever noticed that the file that you think you will never use, eventually is the perfect accent for a page and the same with a paper that you don't necessarily like?  I've done that many times!  LOL.  Anyway....have a great day!  I'm entering this into these challenges:

Snowman Card

I had this little snowman left over from my Christmas Snowman Pee bottles so I decided to make a card with him.  I think he makes a cute card too!

Deer Pocket Card 2

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE how this one turned out.  I had some left over cuts from some pages that I had made and so I decided to use them on some cards to have on hand when I needed one in a hurry.  This little deer is a Kristi W. Designs file and I think she's just the cutest thing ever.  Don't you think she looks really cute on this card.   It will be a perfect Valentine's Day card with the little hearts on her.  Some projects turn out better than others but I really like this one.  :-)

Happy Birthday Easel Card

Over at Friday Mashup, they were having a birthday challenge so I decided to enter this cute little bear easel card.  Isn't it cute!  I love the little bear.  He's a Kristi W. Designs file which it seems that everyone is selling lately.  I turned him into a little girl just by changing the color of the shirt and adding flowers to him.  That makes one cute little girl bear and one fun birthday card.

Zucchini Boat Races Layout 1

At Pink by Design they were having a challenge about inspiration, Sara Hurley Challenges about celebrating, and Peachy Keen was having another challenge to use their stamps that I wanted to enter so....I put my thinking cap on...as I thought about how to do inspiration, I realized that for me, Island Park holds inspiration.  Each year we have the opportunity to go to Island Park and West Yellowstone.  It is truly beautiful country and we have so much fun there.  This layout actually talks about our activities at Island Park and that eternal families are created in this beautiful area spending time hanging out at a cabin.  It's truly priceless.  So this layout was created and it was so fun.  I love all the little animals.  I used files from Designs on Cloud 9 for the  bird and squirrel and Create a Critter for the little fox.   I use my new Peachy Keen face stamps on my squirrel again.  I am LOVING these faces.  They are making my life so much easier!  LOL.  I so appreciate having both eyes the same shape and size.  It sounds silly, but it was driving me nuts before I started using these stamps.  I'm hooked!
