Tea Party Picture Layout

My daughter and I had the opportunity to go to a "Tea Party" and learn about proper etiquette and wear dress up clothes.  It was a lot of fun.  I used a file from KaDoodle Bug Designs  called "Sweet on You Bears" to make this layout and instead of the shake in it, I substituted both girl dolls and a tea pot.   Then I just cut an extra and used it as a peaking bear coming out of the teapot.   Cute little bears aren't they!

I'm entering it into this challenge this week: double take

Birthday Fun to Crow About Layout

My daughter's birthday is around Halloween.  So this year she had a late over with friends and they painted pumpkins and hung out.  It was such a fun event.  I found these cute little crows somewhere and new that they would make a cute "Birthday Fun to Crow About" page.  My daughter doesn't like "pink" so I think she will like this layout!  LOL.  So I'm entering them into a few challenges including Docerela, Die Cutting Divas, and some others.  Hope you have a great day....I'm not off to do housework!  Ugh! use a pumpkin use a pumpkin Harvest Time phtoto inspiration painting pumpkins spooky

40 is Sweet Layout

Some people dread birthdays but I'm not one of them.  I've never had a personal birthday that bothered me although my husbands 30th did for some reason.  LOL.  Anyway, I've always been thankful for the gifts in my life and a birthday to celebrate them on.  Hence, instead of over the hill or whatever, to me my 40th was a sweet birthday full of love and family.

I love the paper on this one and it's been in my stash FOREVER and it looks like "Tea and Granny's! LOL).  I'm still trying to use up my old stash instead of buying new and I find that I don't use pastels really that often even though I think this paper is pretty.  Anyway, I pulled it out and decided to use it on this cute layout.  I've always wanted to do a layout with watermelons and bears but never had any photos to use it on.  I decided that I could use the title to make the watermelons work. is my sweet treat layout!  :-) flourishes, die cuts, food, words treat (watermelon) be thankful color challenge

Winter Bird Cards

When Kadoodle Bug Designs gave out this cute little winter bird pattern free, I just knew I had to make it.  Isn't he cute!  I always have a lot of winter pages to do so I know that he will get put to good use.  These little birds were cut from scraps.  I love to make cute things out of leftover paper from other projects.  Wouldn't he be cute with a Santa hat on Christmas pages too? simply cute shape card animals anything goes any creature card with a bird wild use scraps

Carving Pumpkins Layout for My Sheri Crafts

Hi everyone.  I was chosen to be a guest designer for My Sheri Crafts for my entry into her My Family challenge here.  I was to create a project that had to do with spending time as a family.  Since that's my favorite activity in the world, it was easy for me to create that layout.  I was excited to be chosen as her next guest designer and was asked to create a Halloween project this time.  I happen to have these pictures from last year that I hadn't scrapped yet so I thought it was the perfect time to use them.  I needed something tall on the one side and so I decided to make a pumpkin tree or topiary.  I think it's a cute addition.  That's what I love about my cutting program, I can make anything I want easily.  :-)  The little cat and pumpkin are from Treasure Box Designs and I thought they were just adorable.  The little black bird is just my little bluebird pattern cut in black paper.  (He also makes a cute penguin.  :-)  I love when one file can be used on 3 different layouts and look like a completely different design.) My papers are from a My Minds Eye stack that I've had for a long time (I've been trying NOT to buy more supplies but to use what I have on hand because I have a LOT on hand!  LOL.  And last but not least,  I almost always use Bazzill cardstock that I buy from here. photo challenge children Fall or Halloween Halloween Halloween fall colors anything goes fall - use my stash It's the great pumpin Charlie Brown movie challenge Halloween

Gift Recycle

Hi.  They were having a recycle challenge over at the blog listed below so I decided to enter this recycled "tube" for my Mom's gift for her birthday.  I think it looks much prettier now than it did when it arrived in the mail.  :-)
