Decked out Halloween Gnome

And just for fun, I thought I would post our Decked out Halloween Gnomes.  This was such a fun project.  We bought $3 gnomes at the Dollar Tree and then bought all kinds of baubles and things to put on their hats.  Michelle and I had so much fun!  What a cute little guy to sit on my shelf for the holiday.  Dollar Tree for the win!

12x12 Seasonal Grid Kit Fall

Ok....so I had a friend making these 12x12 grid kits from Mom and Me Scrapbooking   However the price of $25 plus the frame of $20 added up quickly as they had one for each month.  I thought they were so cute so I thought to myself, why don't I make something like that but with just paper and not wood pieces.  This is what I came up with and the bonus is, I didn't buy anything to make it.  It was created with my own stash and cut files I already had.  I insert this into a 12x12 shadow box frame and can change the seasons as I want and the bonus is, they all fit behind each other in the frame!  This is my "fall" version of my grid kit.  The files are Miss Kate's Cuttables and cricut cuts.  I think it turned out cute.  Can't wait to give a set to my secret sister!  What do you think?  Now on to make winter, spring, and summer.

Interchangeable Truck Banner

I LOVE how this turned out.  I made this interchangeable truck banner.  The pumpkins can be removed and a tree, shamrock, heart, Easter eggs etc. can be put into it.  That way it can be used year round if I want.  I can even add a cake or presents for everyone's birthdays.  Super cute and fun.  I did however, remove 2 of the trucks.  I thought it looked a little congested where it was hanging so I used 3 trucks instead of the 5 I originally started with but I didn't retake the photo.  Either way, I think you get the idea.  Now I have a couple extra trucks to put on a scrapbook page.  So much fun or maybe I will make one more and make one for a friend.  Either way, I love how it turned out.  Hope you do too.  Have a great day!  I am sharing it with the challenges below:

Halloween Monster Box

Isn't this a cute little monster.  I made these for my kids for this Halloween.  I thought I'd fill them with little candy bars.  I love the boxes from My Scrap Chick.  They have the cutest easiest boxes ever.  Love them.

Mr. and Mrs. Layout

We recently had the opportunity to go to our nieces wedding.  What a fun time for family to gather and spend time together!  It was beautiful!  I have no idea where the cut file of the couple was shared, as it was hanging out unused on my computer, but if it's yours, please let me know and I will give you proper credit!  Love it.  The titles I just created in MTC so I can't refer you to those either!  LOL. I love this paper pack and finally found a good use for all that beautiful foil paper!  For some reason the hearts on the bottom right look red, but are really a pink color.  Beautiful paper for a beautiful day!

Eek Layout

I'm still super behind on my scrapbooking but catching up.  These are actual 2014 pictures.  LOL.  I did 2013 not long ago.  Ha ha.  2015 to come.  Love these little files.  The title and fence came from Miss Kate's cuttables I believe.....and the little grim I can't remember!   He's actually a left over cut from a turning 50 project that I made and just hadn't used.  He's perfect for these pages though.  Sorry I can't remember where he came from but he's cute isn't he!  LOL.  As my kids get older, I find that Halloween is a lot simpler than it used to be.  A church trunk-or-treat, a pumpkin pizza, and movies at home.  I actually like not having to RUSH to both sets of Grandma's, both Great Grandma's, back to grab hubby, try to find some food and still trying to get the Trick-or-Treating done for the kids.  It was exhausting and I didn't even realize how much until this year when it was much more relaxing.  Don't get me wrong, it was fun and I'd do it all over again while they were little, but I'm also not sorry that it has now changed either!  Is that ok to say????

Eeek Spooky Layout

Here is a fun layout that I created using various files left over from other layouts.  Sometimes it's fun to mix and match and see what you can come up with.  Plus, when I use leftover cuts, the page comes together so much quicker!  Ha ha!  And some days, that's as good as it gets!

Vinyl Faced Pumpkin

This year was fun.  We were carving pumpkins and I decided to use vinyl.  A little while ago, I got the pumpkin file from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs and new it would make a cute face on my real pumpkin not to mention the pieces I can make to scrap the page with!  LOL.  Anyway, here is my pumpkin using these patterns for my pumpkin.  I think it turned out cute not to mention easy peasy and not as messy.  Gotta love that!

Carving Memories Layout

I just had to use my Peachy Keen Stamps again.  I had most of these little cutouts left over from different projects but I just had to do a layout with them because I just got the cute little pumpkin faces from Peachy Keen.   For Christmas I had purchased my second small set of stamps from Peachy Keen and of course had to use them.  So I was making all kinds of projects and joining their challenge every week just to use my new stamps.  I didn't even realize that they were doing a end of the month challenge and they picked a winner that had entered all 4 challenges during the month and I was the lucky winner!  I was thrilled as I'm fairly new to their stamps.  I won $30 dollars worth and decided to purchase several of their smaller sets including these pumpkin faces!  So as you can imagine, I was having fun with my one set and now I have 4 more!  So you will be seeing lost of projects with these stamps as I have fun exploring and playing with them!  I think they are adorable and add such a cute touch.  I like making my own faces, but I also like the stamps.  Now if my uniball pens would quit acting up, I'd be completely happy!  LOL.

I'm entering it into these challenges:

Autumn Pumpkin Layout 2

Lasting Memories was having a Design Team lift off challenge.  I chose to "lift"  Kimberly C's layout.  Here's my take on her layout.  I'm also using the striped paper from my paper stash.  I've had this paper for a long time and cracked open the stack to get using it.  My flowers were also bought about 3 or 4 years ago.  These files came from KaDoodle Bug Designs as freebies... Autumn Bear Title and Pumpkin Hugs.  They are originally Kristi W. Designs.    Cute, cute, cute files!  Love them.

Autumn Pumpkin Layout

This layout was so fun.  I have enough photos to completely fill up the "white" space on this layout so I only did a top and bottom border.  These files were freebies from KaDoodle Bug Designs, and are Kristi W. Designs artwork....Autumn Title and Pumpkin Hugs.  I think they look adorable together.  So fun!  Love these little bears. For the shopping our stash challenge, they asked us to make a project with one of our best deals.  This striped paper was a 180 sheet paper stack from MME that I got for $5.00!  So of course I HAD to buy it.  Now in true shopping our stash logic, I did buy it several years ago!  LOL.  It's perfect for this page though...don't you think?  The bazzill card stock behind it is a "have" to buy also....  250 sheets for $45.00  Can't beat that!  LOL.  :-)  I'm lovin' that I'm finally get a few minutes here and there to scrapbook.

Little Ghoulies Layout

What fun piecings to work with!  These came from Designs on Cloud 9.  Aren't they adorable.  I just had to make them. There were several challenges going on so I incorporated some into my layout for the day.  One was to use a jar....now how do you use a jar on a Halloween layout, you incorporate a spider in it of course!  LOL.  It looks just like it belongs.  This paper is around 5 years old....instead of buying new, I'm trying to use up what I have cuz I have TONS....I'm a scrapbook horder....anyone else with me?

Birthday Fun to Crow About Layout

My daughter's birthday is around Halloween.  So this year she had a late over with friends and they painted pumpkins and hung out.  It was such a fun event.  I found these cute little crows somewhere and new that they would make a cute "Birthday Fun to Crow About" page.  My daughter doesn't like "pink" so I think she will like this layout!  LOL.  So I'm entering them into a few challenges including Docerela, Die Cutting Divas, and some others.  Hope you have a great day....I'm not off to do housework!  Ugh!

Today I had a few minutes and noticed that their were a couple of challenges going on so I decided to make me a new bookmark since one of the challenges was a tag.  I also used just scraps to create this whole project.  :-)   It will be a fun addition to my book!

Carving Pumpkins Layout for My Sheri Crafts

Hi everyone.  I was chosen to be a guest designer for My Sheri Crafts for my entry into her My Family challenge here.  I was to create a project that had to do with spending time as a family.  Since that's my favorite activity in the world, it was easy for me to create that layout.  I was excited to be chosen as her next guest designer and was asked to create a Halloween project this time.  I happen to have these pictures from last year that I hadn't scrapped yet so I thought it was the perfect time to use them.  I needed something tall on the one side and so I decided to make a pumpkin tree or topiary.  I think it's a cute addition.  That's what I love about my cutting program, I can make anything I want easily.  :-)  The little cat and pumpkin are from Treasure Box Designs and I thought they were just adorable.  The little black bird is just my little bluebird pattern cut in black paper.  (He also makes a cute penguin.  :-)  I love when one file can be used on 3 different layouts and look like a completely different design.) My papers are from a My Minds Eye stack that I've had for a long time (I've been trying NOT to buy more supplies but to use what I have on hand because I have a LOT on hand!  LOL.  And last but not least,  I almost always use Bazzill cardstock that I buy from here.

Paint and Vinyl Pumpkin

I had originally cut a white ghost to go on my pumpkin to go with this face, but it didn't "fit" on the pumpkin and I didn't like it sooo..... I scrapped that idea and painted my ghost and then just added my vinyl eyes and mouth....much better. LOL. I think this expression is cute.

Halloween Pillow Treat Box

These are the little boxes that I made for my kids teachers and a few ladies in my church for Halloween. Tucked inside was some Halloween candy of course. :-) Fun fun! I could have made these boxes as I have several patterns that I could have cut, but we have a local stationary store that sold these for $2.50 for 25 of them. The paper would have cost me at least that not to mention my time. It was much faster to just fold these and decorate them and voila....done. :-) The orange scallped circle and round word halloween paper is actually double sided paper and so I only needed one sheet to do both cuts. I bet this whole project was only $.13 cents plus the candy. Gotta love that!
