Evergreen Popup Thank You Card

I made this thank you card for my brother-in-law to say thank you for a gift her gave me.  I love how the tree pop-up came out.  Such a fun die set!

Landscape Rectangle Accodion Die with Cupcake Add On

Playing around with a couple more versions of the Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die set.  This time I added the cupcakes.  Next is the fence!  These are so fun.  Since I cut a bunch of pieces, I decided to do 2 cards at once.  However, after having done it the bottom way, I would definately add the "frame" piece like I did on the top one, just to give it some more stability since my cardstock wasn't that thick.  Still ok, but next time I will add the frame or cut them twice to thicken the card.  Overall, it is super fun.  I do happen to like the first one with the sentiment in the middle instead of the cupcakes all the way across, but that is just a personal preference.  I did add the Happy Birthday sentiment that I made on my Scan n Cut to the back panel of the bottom one.  Such a fun card and a great way to make use of a 6x6 paper pad.

Landscape Rectangle Accordion Card - Happy Birthday Masculine

So I found metal dies by Karen Burniston.  How fun!  I normally use my Silhouette or Cricut to make things, but her dies are so fun!  I must admit, I bought a few.  Shhhh....don't tell.  LOL.  This is the Landscape Rectangle Accordion Die.  I always struggle with making masculine cards, but I think this one nailed it.  The truck is Stampin' Up Trucking Along.  It goes great with this card I think and masculine!  Just love it.

Flip Frame Pop Up Die Card

I recently was given a few pop up die sets and decided to use them.  This one is called the flip frame pop up die from Karen Burniston.  It was a fun card to make.  I did make a mistake on it as I attached it too low and then had to move it so I had to add a piece under the frame because it tore my paper and I didn't have any more to recut.  Next time I won't have to and it will look better, but it was still fun to make and use.   Sure makes a fun card to give.  I added Hello to it and will sign it in the frame on the right when I send it.  So much fun!

Pop Twist Thank You Card

So while I was at it, I had a friend I needed to send a thank you too for extending our scrapbook retreat stay at her cabin.  I decided to modify the inside of the pop twist card to be a thanks shape instead of the 4 squares.  I like how it turned out.  Another one off to it's recipient.  Hope she enjoys it.  The unedited original file came from Lori Whitlock if you are looking for an svg version.

Pop Twist Love You Card

So while I was making my son a Get Well Card, I decided to make a couple more pop twist cards for some people I know.  This one was an I love you card for a friend going through a hard time.  I love the flower on the front.  Such dimension.  We have a saying in our scrapbooking group that a person needs to be "card worthy" to receive a handmade card.  So many people don't appreciate the time and effort that goes into make one of these.  I hope she enjoys it as she is card worthy!  I modified a Lori Whitlock file.

Pop and Twist Jeep Get Well Card

So my son hasn't been feeling well so I wanted to send him a fun card.  Masculine cards are hard for me, but he likes jeeps and so this is what I came up with.  I actually hope he is feeling better BEFORE he gets this card, but if not, then I hope it at least makes him smile and remember how much he is loved!  The popup mechanism came from a Lori Whitlock file and I just modified it for my needs.  I hope he enjoys it!

With Sympathy Card

I just got this new Stampin Up Birds and Branches set and decided to make a sympathy card.  I just love these little birds.  We just lost my niece to covid so I made this card for my brother and his wife and thought I would tuck in a check to help with the funeral costs.  I figured that money in this case in lieu of flowers would be appropriate.  I am so over covid and so sad that it is here to stay.  My heart goes out to all who have lost loved ones due to this awful virus.  No everyone suffers a loss, but in our case, we did.  I think these birds make a pretty card and look forward to using them again.

Pop Up Flower Card

I just got this die and had to give it a try and then liked it so much I bought this flower .svg  like this to use also.  It is easier and faster to cut on the machine as I can cut all pieces at once whereas a die I have to cut one piece at a time.  I love my new cut file.   What a beautiful flower it makes!  I can't wait to try it with some really pretty paper as this was just my first go at it, but I think it is pretty.  Can't wait to use this one again!

Valentine's Box Card

Lookie how sweet!  I bought this Valentine's Box Card from LoriWhitlock's shop and decided to make one for my family for Valentine's Day.  Here is my first one.  I have a few more to make.  So much fun though.  What a cute card.  It folds flat for mailing so I will make one for my Mom also.

Thinking of you square pull through card with hearts

I just love this card.  I had been wanting to make this card but hadn't.  Sadly, I have a friend who just lost her husband and I wanted to make something special for her to know she is loved.  I stayed up late one night making this card.  I love how it turned out.  It makes such a statement.   She loved it!  What a fun card.   Just wish it had been for a happier occasion.

I'm a Sucker for You Double Slider Card

So I decided to try a vertical double slider card.  I had these print and cuts in my stash for probably 2 years.  I thought they looked super cute with the background paper so I made a fun just because card for my husband.  I don't know when I will give it to him since Valentine's Day is past, but....at some point it will be fun to leave him a just because I was thinking of you card.  Love him!

30th Anniversary Card

I got a bunch of brand new craft supplies in the mail the other day so  I decided to use some of my new supplies to make my husband this new interactive card.  It's fun to use those new supplies.   I used the interactive die for the card mechanism, a heart die that I had never used, and even the "pattern paper" inside and out is a stamp.  I bought this check stamp so that I could make any color of buffalo check that I wanted.  It actually stamped pretty evenly.  I love it.  I also bought a smaller check stamp also.  I hope it stamps as well as this one did.  There was only one little spot I had to reink a couple times to get it even.  I think I will try a blue on blue or pink on pink might be fun or even red and black check.  The inside squares are stamped with a big word stamp too.  I orignally thought this would be pretty stamped in brown on a light beige paper for an aged look, but I like how it turned out in black and white for this card.  Men's cards are so hard for me.

Dragonfly Swing Card

Here's another swing card I made using my left over paper and cuts.  I think they go well together!  Loving the little bug and dots and stripes.  Hope it makes someone smile!

Bear and Deer Double Slider Card

Here's a cute double slider card.  I just love how these turn out.  So stinkin' much fun and realatively easy to make.  So so cute!  I think it will make a good masculine card also.  Those are always the hardest for me.  I'll stamp a sentiment on it when I decide what occasion I will send it for and it will be done.   I am loving these!  The next one I want to try is a iris fold card.....what is your favorite card to make?

Quarentine Mask Cards

Someone on one of my groups shared a link of a lady sharing this cute little digi quarentine stamp.  I wish I could remember who that was to give you the link and her credit, but I can't remember now.  I made several of these cute little cards to send to friends to make them smile during this time.  I hope they like them.  The stamps was the same, but I just used a 6x6 paper pad I had so the backgrounds were all different but not too much.  I think they turned out fun.

Happy Bird Day Photo Collage Card

Oh my gosh!  This has just become my new favorite interactive card!  SOOOOOOO much fun and what an impact!  My FIL's bday is coming up and I wanted to make him a fun card since we are in quarentine and won't be spending the normal time together on his birthday.  I had just receive this die and had these stamps that I thougt would make a fun masculine card.  I just LOVE LOVE LOVE how it turned out.  These little birds were the perfect size to put on the inside and I think it is more masculine than feminine.  I have a hard time with male cards but I think he will like this one.  This is the first one of these I have ever made and it was so fun.  I think I am off to try it again!

Mother's Day Cards 2020

With Mother's Day just around the corner, I decided to make a couple of fun interactive cards.  I just love this fun slider card.  I always mount mine on a regular card base so that I can write in it and not on the back, but this is the cards I made my Mom and MIL this year.  I hope they know how much I love them!
