Halloween files....

I've been so busy lately that I've fallen behind. It feels great to finally have these cuts done for Tami at Teddy Bear Treasures. Her patterns are originals copyrighted by her, but available for purchase. It's such a cute set. I LOVE the vampire and the Frankenstein one. I also love the fluffy cat and the monster. I wish my picture had turned out better as these files are so much cuter in person than they look in my picture. Anyway, if you like these files, jump on over to http://www.teddybear-treasures.com/ and take a peak at what she has to offer!

My son LOVED them and wanted me to cut them out for him....I did even though I need to be cutting on the Halloween set that she has.....that one will be fun to show you! She has the cutest cat and ghost files! When I get a minute and get those done, I'll post them, but in the meantime if you would like to see her files, check out her website at the link above.

Just a quick card...

This is a quick card I made using some left over scraps and one of the cuts that I cut from a copyrighted patter from http://www.teddybear-treasures.com/. Isn't it cute! I actually sent it to some friends of ours who were nice enough to allow us to come over for family home evening and ride their horses. My daughter was in heaven and I was so thankful that they allowed us to come over. At the beginning of the summer, we sat done and asked our kids "what" they wanted to do this summer. One of my daughter's requests was to go horseback riding. I knew out of all the requests, that this one was going to be the hardest to accomplish since we don't have any horses. So we decided we'd ask our friends to go up to the cabin and see if they wanted to bring the horses and we'd bring the boat. Unfortunately, they weren't able to go, but said we could come over anytime to ride. It was great. We even got my son to get on a horse after I bribed him with McDonald's. Once he finally got on, he loved it and we couldn't get him off. Mydaughter just beamed all night long. She was in heaven and the smile on her face said it all! Thank guys....we appreciate you letting us come and ride!

Cute Bookmark....

Yesterday, I was browsing the internet and I went to this website (one of my favorites for ideas.) Her design team is fantastic. Here's the link if you want to peak. http://regina-bittenbythebug.blogspot.com/2009/05/animal-kingdom-bookmark-challenge.html Anyway, they had done a challenge using the bookmark feature on the Animal Kingdom Cartridge. Their bookmarks were so cute, I had to give it a try. So off to my scrap space where I came across a leftover 11 inch scrap from another project. So instead of using the bookmark feature (this already had ribbon on it) I just added some matching paper and this cute little elephant (he is a copyrighted image from this site http://www.teddybear-treasures.com/.) She sells the cutest files for die cutting machines. I personally used my cricut with the SCAL program to cut this elephant. If you haven't been to her site, drop on over, you won't be disappointed. Her files are really cute and her prices are very reasonable.

Anyway, I loved how it turned out as the nose can now hold my spot on the page of whatever book I am reading. I just love looking at peoples creations and getting inspired to try something new. I don't think I would have ever decided to do a bookmark. It just never crossed my mind. I usually just use a scrap of paper or sticky note that is handy. LOL. Anyway, I think he turned out cute. Run on over to Teddy Bear Treasures and check out her cute files. This one is one of her Peek-a-Boo set. Thanks for looking!

Skunk Bookmark

I made a cute little elephant bookmark a while ago, (I'll post it soon...I guess I forgot to post it! LOL.) but my daughter liked it so much she snitched it. So I had to make me a new one. This skunk is a copyrighted pattern for sale by http://www.teddybear-treasures.com/. She has some really cute files and her prices are great too. You should go take a peak! Anyway, I think this one turned out cute too. Better than the sticky note I was using!

Drive Inn Movie

This was the funnest page that I have scrapbooked in a long time. (Not that I have scrapbooked much....since getting SCAL, I seem to spend more time on the computer collecting wonderful files that everyone has created than actually using them....) However, I had a couple minutes and decided to make a page. Everything on this page except for the popcorn and popcorn frame was cut using my cricut and SCAL. The SVG file for "Sid the Sloth" came from http://mardenz.blogspot.com/ and the dinosaur came from http://www.teddybear-treasures.com/ (her files are for sale so you can purchase them as the pattern is copyrighted) I've been doing some test cutting for her and she has the cutest files. You really should go check them out. I know you'll like them!

For some reason this silly blog won't allow me to cut and paste an address into it....does anyone know why? I have to type each addresss and it's a pain because I don't want to make a mistake! I'd love your comments as I'm just starting this blogging them and would love to hear what you have to say...thanx!
