Apple Worm Card

Isn't this cute!  This week is teacher appreciation week at school and so I thought I'd make a few items for my son's teacher.  I saw this idea from KaDoodle Bug Designs and decided to make my own version of it.  I think it turned out cute!  I hope his teacher likes it.  Inside it says "Thank you!  We appreciate you!"  I also have a couple more projects that I am going to be giving her but we're starting off with a card.  :-)

Teacher Gift Can

Here's another cute little gift that I made for my son's teacher.  It has glue, emery boards, pens, and a candy bar in it.  Simple but I thought she might be able to use it to hold pens or pencils in her class once she empties it.  This little bear is from My Scrapchick as part of a Valentine's set but I thought he was perfect for this! I looked for the set on their site so you could go see, but.... I couldn't find it now but I'm sure it came from them.... maybe it's been discontinued?

Lagoon Fun Layout

 

 

Here's a fun layout I made using some of my old papers and cutting files.  I've had both for over a year and decided it was time to use them.  I also used my Peachy Keen faces on the bear riding the ride.  We had such a fun trip.  I needed to get them scrapbooked before we did any more trips!  LOL.  I used the Ticket to Ride set from Scrapping Bug Designs for the cut files.  It turned out cute.

Nuts for Riding Layout

 

 

Recently, I found a new company that offers a daily freebie and her files are some of the cutest I've seen...  not to mention really affordable.  Since I had been downloading lots of her files, I decided to open one up and cut it to see how they do.  I love the way she arranges her files for cutting.  When I open a file, I often group my files to layer just like she does so it makes my computer time shorter and my cutting time faster!  I love that!  These little squirrel was a freebie from Miss Kate Cuttables and if you haven't been getting her daily freebie, then you are surely missing out!  Her files are cute, adorable, inexpensive, and cut really well.  That's a win, win, win in my book!

Construction Bears

I bought this set on a clearance for only a dollar and I just had to have this file.  I bought several sets and this is one of the first ones I have cut even though I didn't even know what I would do with them.  I just love them and for that price just couldn't pass them up.  Once I bought them I realized that they would look so adorable on the pages that I have of my husband doing remodeling projects.    So that's where they are going to end up.  Woosh....glad that they will have a home after spending the time to make them!  LOL.  I usually only buy files that I have pictures for but....every once in a while, you just have to get that set that screams "I'm just so cute, take me home!"  These are a Krisit W. Designs file. 

Gingerbread People

 

I have a TON of Christmas pictures to scrapbook for a couple of years.  Christmas is usually the holiday that I don't scrapbook very fast or I put it off forever because I have so many pictures.  We have a Christmas Party with both our families before Christmas each year, Christmas breakfast at Grandma's, Santa, not to mention Christmas morning, their stockings, setting up the tree etc.   Anyway, it's always so time consuming that I put it off forever.  Well over Spring break, we had the opportunity to spend 5 days in a cabin in the woods.  It was wonderful as usual but while I was there, my paper supply was limited.  So instead of starting my actual pages, I decided to work on piecings while watching TV with my family.  All in all, I did 22 of these little guys.  I love, love, love them and it will make actually putting the pages together so much faster now.  Yeah.   These are a Kristi W. Designs file and they are adorable!

Mice Piecings

Ok....these little mice are from Little Scraps of Heaven Designs.  It seems that each designer has a few files that I just have to have.  These little mice were one of those!  Aren't they absolutely adorable.  I made 10 to 12 of these little guys and just love them.  My favorite is the little laying down mouse.  I think he's so cute!  I have a couple of layouts that I'm going to use these on and I've already used one on a card.  I was thrilled to realize that I won $25.00 in free files for joining their challenge and so now I get to go choose some more of my favorites!  She has such cute files.  I love them.  If you haven't been to her site, make sure you pop over and look at her adorable style!  I'll post more pictures when they land on their permanent home.  :-)

Summer Lovin' Crab Layout

We grabbed my mom, nieces kids, and my friend and her kids and went boating and it was so much fun.  Here are some of the pictures that we took.  It was a warm sunny day.  My favorite kind of day without any wind, nice and hot, perfect for boating!  The little crab is a Little Scraps of Heaven piecing and the title Summer Lovin is a title from Scrapping Bug Designs.  Sometimes quick and easy is the way to go!

Cabin Memories Layout

I always have pictures of us doing something at the cabin and am always looking for cute files to use on these layouts.  This is another quick layout I did using left over cuts from other projects and just quickly getting those memories on paper and in a book and just adding the perfect sized sentiment.  For being fairly simple, I really like the amount of photos and journal-ling I was able to get on these layouts.  It's really important since I still scrapbook 8.5x11 to try to make room for the photos and text and still look cute.  Sometimes in these layouts, less is just right.

I Love This Man Layout

I've had a few odds and ends photos laying around and decided to make some quicker layouts to get them out of my stash and into a book.  This is one of those layout.  I love the little dancing couple from My Scrapchick.  They look so cute on this page...really the only decor on it.  Sometimes simple is nice.  :-)

The lego's are from from Scraptastical Kreations and bear from Treasure Box Designs because I had him leftover from another layout so instead of cutting a new bear, I just used him.  THe striped background paper is some of the first paper I purchased probably 10 years ago.... yikes!

Mouse Card

Isn't this mouse the sweetest?  I made about 10 of them today and added one to the front of this little card.  I think it's adorable.  Out of all the poses, this one is my favorite!  This little mouse is a Little Scraps of Heaven Designs file and I think he's just the cutest thing ever!  Hope you agree!
