We lost this sweet kitty a couple years ago. She had been the best cat that we've ever had and she never did wander off. We found her in the woodshed and half of her backside and body was one big scab. We think someone threw her out of their car and she had road rash. My then little girl brought her in so upset because she was hurt and wanted to keep her. Sadly, people drop cats off out in the country all the time. I didn't really want to keep her because she was a female and females have kittens ALL the time in the country and I didn't want the vet bill of another cat to spay but she was hurt, my daughter had just lost her cat, and what's a mom to do? We kept her, nursed her back to health, and had her for many years until she just got really old and sick and we lost her. She must have already been spayed also because we never did have kittens so we never took her in to be spayed. She was a great mouser, always stayed home, and allowed my daughter to pack her all over. She really was a good cat and I'm glad that whoever dropped her off, dropped her at our house afterall. :-)
