These cute little freebies made such a fun birthday layout. I'm always looking for birthday ideas and I'm always behind on birthday scrapbooking ....they just keep happening.....know what I mean! LOL. So when I saw these cute little freebies at KaDoodle Bug Designs, I decided to make them for a layout to use for my son or daughter. My daughter's pictures fit better so her birthday got done instead of his but...anyway you look at it, another birthday done! Love it when I actually get something accomplished. The top border is simply the cake frosting made larger and the frog on the bottom border, I just added an oval to his hands to make legs so that he is smaller for the little space I had at the bottom of this page. I love SVG files for the flexibility that they give me to customize exactly what I need for the space that I have available. This is really important since I still scrapbook 8.5 x 11 and space is limited but I still want all the details and fun. That's another reason I try to add the journaling directly onto my photos. Saves space and helps me to remember even when I don't scrap the event for a couple of years. :-) Everything on this page was cut from left over scraps except the blue paper.... love that!
