We lost my Dad a little over a year ago and as I was trying to figure out what type of flowers to buy to put on his grave, nothing looked right. My dad wasn't a flowery type of a guy and so I started to ponder "what" I could put out at his grave other than flowers to honor his memory. This is what I came up with. I think it's fitting. At Christmas I did an evergreen spray. I sure miss him and of course making a project like this is emotionally draining, but....it turned out well and I think he would have liked it. Miss you Dad!!!

What a lovely way to honor and remember your dad. I lost my dad Oct.2, 2010 and this is the first fathers day where I have been able to make cards/projects for the holiday without completely having a nervous breakdown, although it still makes me very sad.
