Peachy Keen Box Challenge

Two in one day....yep, I got a little time in my scrap room.  Love it!  Over at Peachy Keen, they were having a box challenge.  I've wanted to use this little porcupine for a long time, so today is the day.  I think he's cute with his little Peachy Keen face.  I decided I needed a box to put my cards in and so I decided to use this chipboard that I've had forever in my stash and join their challenge at the same time.  I love, love, love their face stamps.  Wish my luck on their challenge.  :-)

Summer Time Beach Layout

 

 

Ok....I couldn't stand it.  I haven't scrapbooked hardly at all this summer.  So I decided to finally sit down and create something.  I love all these little critters.  I used files from Scrapping Bug Designs, Little Scraps of Heaven Designs, and other miscellaneous files that I have collected over the years.  I'm loving how they turned out.  It was fun to actually create something combining sevceral different designers (that's my something new).  I guess I'm enjoying creating all these memories with my family and I'll have all school year to scrap them while they are at school....right?  LOL.  Hope you are all enjoying your summer too!

I love these trifold cards.  This one came from Penny Duncan's website and the little cow is a Treasure Box Designs file.  Cute huh!  I thought I'd put on the inside "Cows it going?"  Ha ha ha....

Pinewood Derby Layout

 

 

 

 

 

 

I wasn't feeling very well today so I just sat around and made paper piecings and finished a few layouts.  This one turned out so adorable.  I won this file set called "Race Time" from Designs on Cloud 9 and I'm just now getting around to using it.  Better late than never.  I love pulling out "new" old things.  LOL.  I've had this set for a few months and hadn't used it yet so.... I thought it would be great for my son's pinewood derby pictures and I was right.  I love these little piecings and the little bear and the car turned out so stinkin cute.  All the piecings except for the bear laying on the fire extinguisher are from this set.  This is the first time I've used one of her files...I only have this one and a couple of freebies, but I think it turned out really cute!  I was excited to use it and have the pages turn out so fun!  Everything cut well and was sized just right.  If you'd like to see more of her files, jump on over to Designs on Cloud 9 and look around.  I know I'm going to now!  :-)

Bugaboo Bee Bears

 

Aren't these bears cute!  I haven't had much time to scrapbook lately, but today I had a couple of minutes so I pulled out this digital Bugaboo stamp that I won a couple of months ago.  Talk about adorable images....if you haven't been to http://www.bugaboostamps.com/, then you need to check them out.  I had no idea who they were, but I won a contest and got 7 free images so I went to their site to look around.  Boy was it hard to choose just 7!  However, this is one of the lucky little guys that I choose and today I decided to take a couple of minutes and make him out of my scraps.  I'm sure he'll go on a summer page somewhere!  I often make a piecing here and there to use later when I get a chance to actually scrapbook.  This little guy was todays winner.  I think he's adorable!  Thanks Bugaboo.....I will be back this fall to further check out your site and all it's adorable images when I can browse at my leisure!  Glad I found you!

Snow Beauty Layout

 

 

Here are some more winter pictures.  I've been trying to do a little catch up scrapbooking.  I was able to get 29 pictures on 5 pages.  Woohoo.  On these 2 pages, I only have 8 because I wanted to keepthe pictures big enough to really appreciate all the snow, but on the other 3 pages I was able to get 19.  Yeah!  I may catch up eventually....but I still have a ways to go!  One event at a time right...... have a great day!
